Film distributers try to persuade audiences by entertaining them and use compelling ways to want to make them want to see the film. Distributers allow the audience to have a little sneak peak of the film before it comes out in the cinemas.

Distributers use various ways to market the film for e.g. they would create posters, banners, trailers etc... to attract the target audience. Distributers market their films online and mobiles as well. However this isn't the only way a film is marketed because it could be marketed through word of mouth.
The way our film would be marketed is that we're going to create posters which would be used to introduce it to the audience and to also attract them.

This isn't the only way we are going to market our media product. We are also going to market the film by creating merchandises and having other companies involved in selling our film so that it would attract a much wider audience i.e The Nokia company. They helped market Star Trek by converging Star Trek and the Nokia phone together.
